The other week the Akron Beacon Journal's front page's main article was about Akron: Potential film making town. It dealt with a group planning on shooting a feature film in NE Ohio. Yesterday, I met 2 film makers in Akron, April 3-6 is the Akron Independent Film Festival (5th annual). I guess now is a good time to be a film maker in Akron, to say "I remember when..." after things blow up. This town could use it... here's to mini-hollywood.
